Why you pay so much elsewhere

Have you ever wondered why items of, for example, swimwear or lingerie, can be so much cheaper in some overseas countries? The truth is that most of these items are manufactured in countries like China and sold by the manufacturers for about 10% to 20% of the eventual price you will pay off the shelf. The truth is that there is not just one middleman but rather several middlemen (importer, distributor, wholesaler and retailer) all taking their cut. Yes it does cost money to set up and run each of these businesses, so I am not wishing to imply that anyone is charging an unfair price. But the whole process is cumbersome and those customers who insist on choosing their items in large retail stores will be paying extra - quite a bit extra in fact. This is where internet selling comes in. But not all internet retailers source their stock directly from overseas manufacturers. These manufacturers insist on minimum orders of several thousand dollars at a time, so this rules many out. Others just don't know how to go about it, even if they were prepared to buy up big. But one Australian internet site OzBargains.com does source only high quality stock directly from overseas manufacturers and then retails it directly to you the customer. Even though postage must be added, this small cost can be split over several items if you take the time to select three or four items for the one order. So take a look at OzBargains.com and see what you can save!
